Dr. Burton Sundin
Dr. Burton Sundin is a triple graduate of Duke University from where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and became a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Sundin completed his M.D. at Duke University Medical Center in 1997 and his residency in plastic surgery in 2003. He followed this up with advanced training in plastic surgery and two fellowships.
He earned a cosmetic surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine and a hand surgery fellowship at the renowned Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery. During the course of his cosmetic surgery fellowship, Dr. Sundin trained with Dr. Luis Vasconez, recognized as one of the pioneers of modern plastic and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Sundin was also honored with a faculty appointment as an instructor at the UAB School of Medicine. He received his board certification from the eminent American Board of Plastic Surgery. At present, Dr. Sundin provides treatments to patients in Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Vienna, McLean, Loudoun, Ashburn, Tysons Corner, Reston, Arlington, Chevy Chase, Richmond, and nearby areas.
Dr. Reps Sundin
Dr. Reps Sundin is a leading plastic surgeon with a board certification from the prestigious American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Sundin received an academic scholarship to pursue his M.D. at the University of Alabama’s School of Medicine. He followed with a residency in general surgery at the University of Kentucky. He was among the select few chosen for an Integrated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Sundin also completed an Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship at the leading Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. During this period of advanced cosmetic surgery training, he was mentored by well-known aesthetic surgery experts, including Dr. Sherrell Aston and Dr. Alan Matarasso. During this period, Dr. Sundin enjoyed independent operating privileges and became the Medical Director of his own Cosmetic Enhancement Clinic. Today he commands a strong reputation as a plastic surgeon in and around Richmond area and other communities.
In addition to his professional commitments, Dr. Sundin devotes time for humanitarian efforts. He has participated in several volunteer missions worldwide, delivering critically needed medical care to underserved regions.
