Surgical Procedure
Your surgeon may recommend general anesthesia for a comprehensive breast lift with implants surgery. Following anesthesia, your surgeon will create incisions in discreet locations, which could be either around the areolas or under the breast crease. Through the incisions, the surgeon will place the breast implants (usually beneath the pectoral muscle).
They will excise the loose skin from the breast and tighten the breast tissue to lift the breasts to a higher position following implant placement. The combined procedure will improve the breast projection as well as fill out the upper portion of your breasts.
When both breast implants and breast lift cosmetic surgery are performed together as one procedure, it will usually involve lesser removal of the breast lift. As a result, the subsequent scarring could be reduced. If your breasts are sagging heavily, the surgeon may use a lollipop incision, but otherwise a crescent incision may be used.
Cleavage Enhancement
If you prefer to have an increased cleavage, your surgeon may be able to do this with a breast implants with lift surgery. The size, shape, and type of your breast implants will be determined based on your anatomical needs and aesthetic goals. You should discuss your preference for an enhanced cleavage at the time when your customized surgical plan for breast augmentation with lift is being formulated.
Recovery
Recovery process in a combined procedure is not too different from that of a standalone breast lift or breast augmentation plastic surgery. You can expect to go back to work or return to your daily routine in about one to two weeks after the surgery.
