Less Invasive Surgery
One of the reasons behind the popularity of Brazilian butt lift is that the surgery is fairly uncomplicated and less invasive. The surgeon can reshape and lift the buttocks simply by performing fat transfer from areas such as the abdomen or thighs to the buttocks.

Procedure
A Brazilian butt lift surgery may be completed in about two to three hours, depending on the extent of buttock enhancement involved. The procedure may be performed using general anesthesia or IV sedation with local anesthesia. As a first step, the plastic surgeon will harvest excess fat tissue from one or more donor sites in the patient’s body.
The fat removal part will be similar to liposuction, where the surgeon will insert a thin cannula into donor sites through very small incisions. Fatty tissue will be carefully suctioned out, leaving slimmer, and more attractive contours in the donor site. The second step will be to sterilize, purify, and process the collected fat tissue for injecting in the targeted areas of the buttocks.
The harvested fat cells will bond with the existing tissue in the buttocks through this fat grafting process. The surgeon will make use of an extremely small needle to inject the harvested fat cells into the musculature and deep fat layers of the buttocks. This step will be performed with high precision to achieve a smooth, even, and natural looking appearance of the buttocks.
In most cases, nearly one-fourth of the harvested fat cells will be utilized in the fat grafting process. Recovery
It is important to allow the grafted fatty tissue in the buttocks to heal and acquire a firm new shape. The patient should avoid sitting directly on the buttocks for the first one to two weeks. They may also have to take at least a week off work, particularly if it is a sedentary job.
