Your Customized VOLUMA Treatment
VOLUMA is a non-surgical injectable procedure that can be performed in the welcoming and comfortable MBody offices in either Richmond or Vienna, Virginia. A typical treatment usually requires only about 15-20 minutes, making it amazingly easy to schedule without disrupting your busy schedule. Because the VOLUMA injections have been infused with lidocaine, a local anesthetic, any discomfort during and after the treatment is effectively minimized. Most patients can resume their normal daily activities immediately after receiving the VOLUMA treatment, although all patients should avoid exposure to sun or heat, strenuous activity and exercise, and alcoholic beverages for 24 hours after treatment. Any side effects of VOLUMA injections are temporary and usually mild and generally subside within 2-4 weeks. Successful, long-term results do require periodic follow-up injections.
